Coaching
The Leisure Services Department welcomes volunteer coaches for its many seasonal youth athletic programs, including baseball, basketball and soccer. If you're interested in helping foster youth sports in a safe, supportive environment, we encourage you to apply for consideration. Applicants must be willing to be fingerprinted and undergo a Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) background check.
Our volunteer application is available for download below, but fingerprint cards and FDLE authorizations must be picked up in person at the Leisure Services office in the Sunrise Civic Center, at 10610 West Oakland Park Boulevard. This building can be located using our City Facilities map.
