Athletic Club

Location: The Athletic Club is in the east wing of the Sunrise Civic Center. The Civic Center is on the south side of Oakland Park Boulevard, just west of Nob Hill Road and behind the Dan Pearl Broward County Library branch. The Club can be located using our City Facilities map.
The gymnasium has hardwood floors and retractable seating.
Hours: The Athletic Club is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Overview: The Athletic Club offers a wide variety of facilities, equipment and programs. Features include:
Fitness Center. This dedicated workout space has four electronic treadmills, two elliptical trainers, a recumbent bike, free weights and ten professional-quality weight/resistance machines.
Racquetball court reservations are available to members.
Racquetball Courts. The Club offers two air-conditioned, indoor courts, which may be reserved only by Club members for a $2.00 fee. Any court not reserved may be used at no additional cost by members, or by individuals paying the daily Athletic Club fee.
Gymnasium. The gym boasts hardwood floors, an automated scoreboard and ample spectator seating. It's the site of City-sponsored basketball and volleyball play, and may be rented by Sunrise residents for select functions.
Dance Studio. This spacious room features wood floors and mirrored walls perfect for practicing poses. It's utilized for children's dance classes, as well as adult fitness programs.
Game Room. This space - adjacent to the Civic Center Snack Bar - features ping pong, foosball and pool tables, as well as board games.
Additional Amenities. Locker rooms with showers are free to Club members, as is the use of such equipment as basketballs, volleyballs and racquetball racquets. Club members may also use the adjacent Aquatics Complex facilities for a nominal daily fee.

Deluxe Annual: Includes use of the Aquatics
Complex facilities, as well as the gymnasium, fitness room, racquetball
courts, game room and Fitness Center locker rooms. Racquetball court reservation
fees are extra.
$150.00 Available only to adults 18 and up.
$225.00 Up to five members of immediate family. Children 17 and under must
be accompanied by an adult.
