Location:
The Civic Center Complex is on the south side of Oakland Park Boulevard, just west of Nob Hill Road and behind the Dan Pearl Library. This venue can be located using our
City Facilities map.

 
Hours:
The Civic Center Box Office is open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00pm to 7:00pm, and one hour before shows. Ticket prices vary by performance.

 
Civic Center Theatre Interior
The Civic Center's intimate Theatre.
Theatre Overview:
This intimate 300-seat theatre with mezzanine features a full production-size stage, an orchestra pit and state-of-the-art sound and lighting. Simply put, there's not a bad seat in the house. Make the Civic Center Theatre your first choice for quality, affordable entertainment, including theatrical presentations, musical performances and children's programming.

Amphitheatre Overview:
This beautiful outdoor stage features professional sound and lighting equipment, and provides seating for 750. Ideal for musical and theatrical performances, it's the site of the City's popular "Sunrise at Sunset" concert series.

An Irish Celebration. Friday, March 7, at 8:00 p.m. Pianist Donna Long and fiddler James Kelly make beautiful music together! Their performance features everything from old Irish airs to jigs and reels. Reserved seating. Sunrise Civic Center Theatre, 10610 West Oakland Park Boulevard. 954-747-4646. "Sunrise at Sunset" Concert Series - Joey Gilmore Blues Band.
Friday, March 14, at 7:00 p.m. The City's free outdoor concert series showcases local musicians. Performances are held on the second Friday of each month, through May. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Sunrise Civic Center Amphitheatre, 10610 West Oakland Park Boulevard. 954-747-4600. Free.

Duquesne University Tamburitzans. Saturday, March 15, at 7:30 p.m. Back by popular demand, it's the longest running live stage show in the U.S. The troupe's colorful costumes and exciting songs and dances will take you on a heart-throbbing, foot-stomping journey through Eastern Europe and neighboring cultures. Reserved seating. Sunrise Civic Center Theatre, 10610 West Oakland Park Boulevard. 954-747-4600. Tickets: $22 adult, $18 student, $8 child.

Beauty and the Beast. Saturday, March 29, at 2:00 p.m. A classic love story played out in music and song by the American Family Theatre. Recommended for ages 5 to 12. Sunrise Civic Center Theatre, 10610 West Oakland Park Boulevard. 954-747-4646. Tickets: $8 adult, $7 child - general admission.
