Transportation The City of Sunrise offers low-cost mini-bus service. Medical transportation is also available to eligible residents. Mini-Bus Service Sunrise mini-buses operate on a regular schedule, picking up passengers in residential areas and transporting them to and from a variety of destinations - including shopping centers, libraries, the Senior Center and Sawgrass Mills.

Sunrise provides low-cost mini-bus transportation.

These buses are equipped with handicapped lifts and wheelchair stations. The fee is just 25¢ each way. Please click the links below for route information, or call (954) 746-3677. Mini-bus routes run Monday through Friday unless otherwise noted: Route 1 Sunrise Lakes Phase 3, westbound Route 2 Sunrise Lakes Phase 3, eastbound Routes 3 & 4 A Welleby Plaza to Sunrise Lakes Routes 3 & 4 B University Plaza to Sunrise Lakes Route 5 A Cross-town, serving Waterbridge, Boardwalk Apartments and Gold Key areas (to shopping) Route 5 B Cross-town, serving Waterbridge, Boardwalk Apartments and Gold Key areas (from shopping) Route 6 Monday - Thursday Sunrise Lakes to/from Sawgrass Mills - Monday through Thursday Route 6 Red Francis Levy to Sawgrass Mills - Friday only Route 6 Yellow Waterbridge to Sawgrass Mills - Friday only Route 7 Sunrise Lakes Phases 1 & 2, shopping loop Medical Transportation Some seniors may qualify for the Center's medical transportation program.
