Fire-Rescue Stations
Sunrise has one of the most modern fleets of Fire-Rescue equipment available, as well as the finest Fire-Rescue stations in South Florida. The City's five state-of-the-art stations - and the Department's administrative headquarters - are shown below.
The numbers that identify Broward County's 100+ fire stations are based on the order in which they were originally built. Once a City has established a station, they may keep its number - even if the station is rebuilt or relocated within the municipality. Under this county-wide system, no two stations share identifying numbers - preventing confusion when fire-rescue teams work together to provide mutual aid.
In the event of emergency, dial 9-1-1, not an individual station.
