Enhanced Garbage and Recycling Collection
Effective March 31, 2006, Sunrise residents will benefit from improved garbage and recycling collection service. As part of these significant enhancements:
Curbside collection customers may set out an unlimited quantity of trash cans and bags on each collection day;
Curbside collection customers are no longer required to bundle yard waste;
The size limit for tree branches collected at curbside has been increased to limbs of up to six (6) feet in length, six (6) inches in diameter, and 50 pounds in weight; and
Bulk trash will be collected each month (12 times per year), rather than every other month (6 times per year).
