A Message from the Chief
The protection of life and property is a basic function of government, and the primary mission of the Sunrise Fire-Rescue Department. Known for its progressive approach in serving the community, Sunrise Fire-Rescue is comprised of 167 highly-trained men and women dedicated to helping their fellow citizens.
We are proud of our history and of the wide range of services we provide, including firefighting, paramedic services, and specialized operations such as hazardous materials and technical rescue. However, our real strength is in the quality of firefighters, and paramedics here to serve you.
Recognized as some of the best emergency responders in the State, our personnel train firefighters and paramedics across the region, participate on Federal emergency response teams and have been recognized numerous times for their skill and expertise.
Below, you will find the current Fire Department Monthly Performance Report and the Operations and Policies Manual.
