Sunset Strip and City Park

Start the holiday with an old-fashioned Independence Day parade. This summertime favorite will feature colorful floats and costumed characters - including a special appearance by Stanley C. Panther. The parade will begin at NW 12th Street and wind its way west along Sunset Strip to City Park (located between NW 64th Avenue and NW 68th Avenue) where the fun continues with FREE food, rides and kids’ entertainment until 1:00 p.m. Local businesses and organizations are invited to participate at no cost. Download a Parade Entry Form and return your completed copy to the City of Sunrise Leisure Services Department no later than June 26.
