Storytellers returns to the Sunrise Civic Center Theatre for its highly anticipated third volume, continuing to build on the momentum of this powerful spoken word performance series. Rooted in authenticity and fueled by raw emotion, Storytellers is more than a showcase, it is a platform where truth, artistry, and lived experience converge. Each installment invites audiences into an intimate yet electrifying environment where poetry becomes a catalyst for connection, reflection, and meaningful dialogue.

Presented in partnership with Pavlov’s Ring The Bell Management, the series is dedicated to amplifying voices that challenge perspectives, inspire change, and celebrate the richness of human expression. The theatre is transformed into a dynamic space where vulnerability is embraced, strength is shared, and every word carries weight. From moments of hushed stillness to bursts of passionate delivery, Storytellers creates an atmosphere where stories are not only heard, but deeply felt.

Volume 3 promises an unforgettable evening led by headliner Bertrand Boyd, whose commanding stage presence and fearless honesty have made him a standout voice in the spoken word community. Known for his ability to weave personal narrative with universal themes, Boyd delivers performances that are both thought-provoking and emotionally resonant.

Joining him is a powerful lineup of South Florida talent, including Aniah Heaven, Moses West, Just John, Crystal Espinosa, KC Pen, and Flanagan High School’s “Writers Ink.” Each artist brings a distinct voice and perspective, contributing to a rich tapestry of storytelling that reflects the diversity, creativity, and depth of the local arts scene.

Guiding the evening with charisma, wit, and seamless flow is host and emcee Calvin “MadeSON” Early, whose engaging presence ensures a cohesive and immersive experience from beginning to end. His ability to connect with both performers and audience alike sets the tone for a night that feels both personal and electric.

With its all–South Florida lineup, Storytellers, Volume 3 stands as a celebration of community, culture, and the transformative power of the spoken word. More than just a performance, it is an experience that invites audiences to listen deeply, feel fully, and leave inspired.
