Learn more about our four City-owned aquatics facilities, where you can find a variety of pools that offer people of all ages the opportunity to swim, splash, and play!

Please note that Roarke Pool, Village Beach Club and Welleby Pool operate on a seasonal schedule. During Spring and Summer (with exact dates varying by year), they open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. These pools open seven days a week during the peak of Summer, and remain closed during Fall and Winter.

The Sunrise Civic Center Aquatics Complex is currently open for summer through August 9th!

Pool Rules & Regulations

Before entering any swimming/water areas, all bathers must take a cleansing shower.
Only swimsuits may be worn in the pool. Thong bathing suits, cutoff shorts, exposed underwear and denim are not permitted.
Smoking or the use of other tobacco products is not permitted.
Food or drink is permitted in designated areas ONLY.
Only on duty aquatics personnel are permitted in the lifeguard stands.
Glass objects are not permitted.
Alcoholic Beverages are not permitted.
All children 12 years of age or younger must be accompanied by and under the supervision of an adult 18 years of age or older.
Animals are not permitted (with the exception of service animals which are allowed on the deck only).
No profane, abusive, or vulgar language offensive to staff and/or patrons will be permitted.
No running, spitting, or rough boisterous behavior will be permitted.
Gum is not permitted in swimming areas.
Playing on or near ladders, lifelines, or lane ropes is not permitted.
Kickboards may be used in lap swim areas only. Swimmers using lap lanes must move continuously.
No diving or back flips.
Coast Guard approved life jackets may be used in the shallow end of the pool. An adult must accompany children in the water within an arm’s reach at all times. Personal flotation devices may be used during open swim.
The City of Sunrise is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles.
Due to space limitations and state regulations, pool furniture is not permitted in the children’s pool area.
The kiddie pool is restricted to children under 42” and accompanied by a responsible adult.

Overview:

This facility - located next to the Sunrise Tennis Club - features a 25-meter recreational pool and a children's wading pool.

Hours through Labor Day:

Through June 19th: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Beginning June 20th - Daily 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Please note that the Sunrise Civic Center Aquatics Complex is open all year.

Admission Fees:

Sunrise residents* - $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for children
Non-residents - $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for children (17 and under)

*In order to qualify for resident rates, patrons must provide proof of residency at time of payment.
