The City is home to more than 250 acres of municipal green space - from small neighborhood parks to large facilities with a full range of amenities. Follow the links in the table below for more information on our city parks and recreation facilities or view our park rules.

Overview:

Village Beach Club features a free-form pool and restroom facilities.

Hours:

  • Beginning May 2nd - Open weekends only from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Beginning June 4th - Open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pool Party: 

Join us as we celebrate the start of the season with light refreshments and fun at our pool parties!

  • Village Beach Club - May 9th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Roarke Pool - May 16th  from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. 
  • Welleby Pool - May 30th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

Holiday Hours:

  • Juneteenth - Friday, June 19: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Independence Day - Saturday, July 4: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Please note that the Sunrise Civic Center Aquatics Complex is open all year.

Admission Fees:

Sunrise residents* - FREE
Non-residents - $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for children (17 and under)

*In order to qualify for free admission, patrons must provide proof of Sunrise residency.
