Pass Up Plastics: Business Pledge

Pass Up Plastics City of Sunrise, Florida logo

Join the City of Sunrise in supporting the worldwide movement to reduce waste from single-use plastics.

The Pass Up Plastics Sunrise pledge gives local businesses an opportunity to be recognized for what you are currently doing and depending on the "level" you are willing commit:

  • If your business is currently doing and/or commits to taking at least one (1) of the actions below, your business will be designated as a Good and Green Partner.
  • If your business is currently doing and/or commits to taking at least three (3) of the actions below, your business will be designated a Good and Green Steward.
  • If your business is currently doing and/or commits to taking at least six (6) of the actions below, your business will be designated a Good and Green Hero.

Directions: Please indicate which of the below the actions you are "Doing Now" (you are already doing this in your establishment) or "Pledging to Do" in the future (within the next 3-6 months) to reduce waste from single-use plastics.

You are able to resubmit the pledge at any time to update the actions you are taking.

We will use this information to recognize your efforts on the Pass Up Plastics webpage, and may highlight your business in campaign marketing and outreach activities.
