In March, Sunrise Utilities will begin a wastewater force main relocation and replacement project near West Inverrary Boulevard and NW 30th Place at the bridge over the C-13 Canal. This work is necessary to facilitate planned bridge improvements in the area and includes the installation of approximately 1,200 feet of new 12-inch pipeline to ensure continued system reliability. The project, performed by contractor Johnson-Davis Inc., is expected to be completed by Fall 2026.
We appreciate the patience of residents, businesses, motorists, and pedestrians as we perform these essential infrastructure upgrades. During the project, please note the following:
- Traffic Flow: Partial, short-term road closures may occur. Clearly marked detours will be provided to guide motorists around the work zone.
- Accessibility: Access to all homes and businesses in the area will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
- Service Reliability: While we aim for seamless operations, brief service interruptions may be required. These will be announced in advance to affected customers.
- Affected Hours: For the convenience of the nearby community, all construction activities will take place during daytime hours.
