Sunrise is Updating its Sign Regulations
What does this mean, and why are we doing this?
The City Commission has started a comprehensive review of the City’s sign regulations to contribute to the City's aesthetics while maintaining a high standard for residents and businesses to display appropriate signage.
Signs help us locate points of interest, promote local businesses, and even amplify special events or offerings.
But do they look great and fit our community? Like building architecture, signs can either enhance or detract from the places they identify and the overall appearance of our City. Design, scale, proportions, materials quality, and placement all influence our perception of a sign.
Your feedback is critical!
Let's revise the criteria for our community together! We want to know what business owners, commercial property owners, and residents think about the current signage throughout the City and our regulations.
Here’s how you can get involved:
Take a quick survey
|
Survey for City residents: If you are a City resident, we welcome you to complete this short survey about how you perceive the effectiveness and appearance of signage within the City. *Should take 5 minutes or less to complete. |
Survey for City businesses: If you are a business owner or commercial property manager, please complete this short survey about existing City sign codes and your signage needs. *Should take 10 minutes or less to complete. |
