Get a Broward County Library E-Card

Broward County Public Libraries, including Dan Pearl Library in Sunrise, offer an extensive list of free educational resources. In addition to books and audiovisual resources that can be checked out directly from libraries with a traditional library card, the library system offers e-cards which can be applied for online and give you access to free digital resources accessible by residents anywhere with an internet connection. 

1. First, fill out the Broward County Library E-Card application.
2. Take a look at books available now in the Broward County Libraries ebook catalog.
3. Use the E-Card on the Axis 360 and Hoopla platforms to access additional content:

• Beginning March 24, 2020, the Sunrise Center for Excellence in Chess began offering a limited number of free 90-day memberships to an online chess education program that uses puzzles and skills training to improve student chess abilities. • WLRN At-Home Learning- featuring age-appropriate programming blocks for students Pre-K through Grade 12 that are aligned to state education standards, these programs are free and accessible on WLRN-TV, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM.
