The City of Sunrise July4th Celebration - displaying stars, stripes and fireworksDon't miss the festivities set for Friday, July 4th, 2025, in the City of Sunrise!

Featuring "The Great Outdoors" Parade & Family Fun Day,  and Concert & Fireworks outdoors at Amerant Bank Arena, entertainment by Paradigm Party Band!

"The Great Outdoors" ParadeJuly4th Great Outdoors
and Family Fun Day

9:00 am to 12:00 pm
City Park, 6600 Sunset Strip
FREE admission!
Themed floats and marching units will wind their way west along Sunset Strip from NW 12th Street to City Park, where the excitement will continue! Children can enjoy snow cones, the park's playground and splash pad, and a fun zone with an inflatable water slide, obstacle course, rock wall and more. (Swimsuits recommended for kids!)  Food and beverages are available for purchase from the following vendors:

  • Dominick's Pizza
  • Popo's Seafood
  • The Lemon Squeeze 

Community groups and businesses are invited to participate in the parade. Complete our online application.

Concert & Fireworks

6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Outdoors at Amerant Bank Arena
One Panther Parkway. FREE parking and admission!
There’s something for everyone at our nighttime celebration, including a children’s fun zone and an assortment of food and beverage vendors. We'll launch our fantastic fireworks display at 9:30 pm!

FOR YOUR SAFETY,
the following items cannot be brought into the event area at Amerant Bank Arena:
Backpacks, bags larger than 12" x 12", coolers, glass bottles, alcohol, weapons, drones, fireworks, pets, and bicycles. (Bring a lock to park your bike in the lot.) All bags will be searched.

 

 

Holiday Hours of Operation
City of Sunrise administrative offices will be closed on July 4th in observance of Independence Day. However, garbage, recycling and bulk trash will be collected as regularly scheduled.

 Special July 4th hours of operation for Leisure Services facilities include:

  • Sunrise Civic Center Athletic Club - open 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Sunrise Civic Center Aquatics Complex - open 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Village Multipurpose Center - open 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Sunrise Athletic Complex (SAC) Multipurpose Center - open 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Parks - open 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Sunrise Tennis Club - open 8:00 am to 3:00 pm 
  • Sunrise Civic Center Box Office - closed
  • Sunrise Senior Center - closed

The Bridges at Springtree Golf Club will follow its regular hours of operation on July 4th.
