South Florida’s most modern Senior Center is dedicated to encouraging personal growth, fostering active participation in the community, and helping residents age 55 and up achieve and maintain an independent, healthy lifestyle. The Sunrise Senior Center offers a wide variety of leisure and educational programs, support groups, special events and trips. Monday  8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
Wednesday   8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
Friday  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

BECOME A MEMBER

Senior Center Game Room

While some of our programs are free, Senior Center membership is required to participate. Members are entitled to special benefits, including:

  • Use of Game Room
  • Bi-monthly mailings of the Center's event calendar
  • Pre-registration opportunities for classes, trips and other programs
  • Reduced fees for select programs, classes and trips

Best of all, membership is affordable: just $15 per year for Sunrise residents* and $25 per year for non-residents.

To purchase your annual membership, please visit the Sunrise Senior Center.

*Proof of residency is required in order to receive the resident rate. Must include two proofs of residency such as a drivers license and utility bill. Please contact the Senior Center for a complete list of acceptable documentation. Learn more by calling us at 954-746-3670. 

 

TAKE OUR VIRTUAL TOUR

The Sunrise Senior Center opened in 1995 and has since been upgraded to more than 16,000 square feet thanks to funding by park bonds overwhelmingly approved by Sunrise voters. The Center is a recipient of the Florence R. Goldmann Distinguished Senior Center Award, presented by the Florida Association of Senior Centers.
