The Records Unit maintains the integrity of the Police Department’s critical documents while providing vital information to Department personnel, other government agencies, and the public. The Records Unit is also responsible for the maintenance and retrieval of crime reports and statistical records.
Copies of police reports can be obtained from the Records Unit at the City of Sunrise Public Safety Building Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM and on Saturday from 8 AM to 12 Noon.
To save time and ensure your report is ready, please call the Records Unit at 954-746-3500 before your arrival. Please allow a minimum of five (5) business days after the incident for the report processing to be completed.
