Sunrise City Hall and the City's other administrative offices are typically open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. 

The City's administrative offices close, along with the Sunrise Senior Center, Signature Sunrise and the Theatre Box Office, in observance of these holidays:

• New Year's Day (January 1st)
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Third Monday in January)
• Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
• Juneteenth (June 19th)
• Independence Day (July 4th)
• Labor Day (First Monday in September)   
• Veterans Day (November 11th)
• Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November)   
• Day after Thanksgiving (Friday following Thanksgiving)
• Christmas Day (December 25th)

Special holiday hours of operation are observed at some other City facilities, typically including the Sunrise parks, Sunrise Civic Center Athletic Club and Aquatics Complex, SAC Multipurpose Center, Village Multipurpose Center, Sunrise Tennis Club, and Bridges at Springtree Golf Club. Please refer to the City News or contact (954) 747-4600 during business hours to confirm the specific hours of operation for upcoming holidays. These facilities also observe special hours of operation on some additional holidays:

• Easter (date varies annually between late March and late April)
• Day before Independence Day (July 3rd) on select years when July 4th falls on a Saturday
• Christmas Eve (December 24th)
• New Year's Eve (December 31st)

Garbage, recycling and bulk trash collection operate as regularly scheduled on all days with the exception of Christmas Day.
