Registration for the 2026 Sunrise Teen are CLOSED 

The applications for the 2nd Annual Sunrise Teen Leadership Summit are  closed. Stay tuned for dates for the 2027!   

The teen summit is FREE two-day event features hands-on leadership activities, personal branding, and career-readiness workshops. Additionally, its an opportunity to:

• Gain insight in local/state government;
• Connect with community leaders/peers;
• Share your voice on important community projects and issues;
• Discover volunteer opportunities, internships, and scholarships; and
• Explore sustainability initiatives to help your neighborhood

Eligibility:

• City of Sunrise resident - ages 13 to 18
• Enrolled in Broward County Public School, Charter, Home School, Dual Enrollment, or Early Start College/University;
• Interested in strengthening leadership and advocacy skills; and
