On behalf of the Mayor, Commissioners, and staff of the City of Sunrise, we want to welcome you to our great City, and we look forward to the opportunity to meet you. We are so happy that you chose to call Sunrise your home! As a new resident, we are providing you with the Residents Guide, which we hope you find beneficial. Sunrise is a wonderful community in so many ways, and we encourage you to experience everything we have to offer.

The City of Sunrise offers its approximately 98,000 residents a wide variety of amenities, including the Sawgrass Mills mall, an outlet shopping mall with 350 stores and more than 2.4 million square feet of retail space; and the Amerant Bank Arena, which is home to the Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers National Hockey League team and host to more than 125 concerts, games, and events annually.
